Turbocharged 1995 Mazda Miata

This turbocharged 1995 Mazda Miata, known as “Blueberry”, belongs to my wife, but I do all the work on it. We bought it in 2018 with many modifications already performed by the original owner. I performed a lot of over-due maintenance and repairs, as well as some cosmetic improvements. This is a summer-time cruiser that we occasionally take Autocross racing.

Ready to go cruising with the top down

Modifications

  • Custom paint, using Mazda’s “Blueberry Mica” color, which was not available on Miatas
  • Flyin’ Miata turbo system, making about 10psi boost and 208whp
  • Flyin’ Miata front strut brace
  • Flyin’ Miata front and rear anti-roll bars
  • Flyin’ Miata gauge cluster faces
  • Hard Dog M1 Hard Core roll bar
  • Koni Sport shocks
  • Konig “Dial In” 15×7 wheels
  • Original radio modified with an auxiliary input jack
  • Steering wheel from a second generation (NB) Miata
